Choose Life

There are times when we need to return to our thoughts and memories of the beginnings of life as we know it. If we are to heal through life trials in the present in preparation for the future, we must ask for help when needed. The beginning can be rough although memorable and at times filled with things we’d rather forget. And yet, without the beginning, there would be no start in life to ease the path to a sturdy foundation from which we can stand upon as we work towards an inevitable and eventual ending. I thought of this while talking to an individual about his options in life and why he must choose to live.

Perhaps it is better that we use positive reminders from our beginnings to relieve the pain when we look back to recreate ourselves into who we perceive we want to be. In life we will always have choices whereas in death the void leaves behind lost potential from a spark put out before its time. Individuals achieve personal growth through others willingness to inspire them on their path towards successful goal achievements. Suicide does not soften the hurt of loss and is never the answer, although for some it is enticing when all else seems unachievable.

Pain and aloneness run deep when you feel you have no where to turn to relieve your disappointments in life. The need for touch and support for healing is necessary to fully understand and accept the true value of life and living. An emotional crisis interferes with an individuals ability to heal without benefit of supportive intervention. Suicide eliminates an opportunity to make right any wrongs or to live out our dreams or full potential.
